Visite d'inspiration de Deauville à l'emblématique Mont-Saint-Michel

Normandie Images, la Région Normandie et Film France - CNC (commission nationale du film rattachée au CNC – Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée) ont le plaisir d'inviter les cinéastes et producteurs américains présents au Festival du cinéma américain de Deauville à une visite d'inspiration au Mont-Saint-Michel, le 8 septembre 2026.

Accompagnés de directeurs de production français, les participants prendront part à un parcours conçu pour stimuler de futurs projets de scénarios et de films en Normandie, en mettant en lumière le caractère unique de la région et ses lieux d'exception.

Centré sur l'emblématique Mont-Saint-Michel, l'itinéraire comprendra une traversée sensorielle de la baie pieds nus à marée basse, qui s'achèvera par une visite privée de l'abbaye.

Cette expérience sera enrichie par l'expertise de spécialistes du patrimoine du Mont-Saint-Michel et de guides professionnels ; chacun partagera des connaissances historiques ainsi que des perspectives inspirées par l'univers du cinéma.

La journée se clôturera par une réception au Logis Sainte Catherine en l'honneur des invités américains, en présence de représentants de la région.

Normandie Images, the regional film commission, Normandy Region and Film France - CNC, the French film commission, a department of the CNC (National Center for Cinema and the Moving Image), are pleased to invite American filmmakers and producers attending the Deauville American Film Festival to an Inspiration Tour to Mont Saint-Michel on September 8, 2026.

Participants will embark along with French line producers on a curated journey designed to inspire future screenwriting and film projects in Normandy by showcasing the region’s distinctive character and exceptional locations.

Centered on the iconic Mont Saint-Michel, the itinerary features a sensory barefoot crossing of the bay at low tide, culminating in a private tour of the Abbey.

The experience will be enriched by the expertise of Mont Saint-Michel heritage experts, and professional guides; each will share both historical insights and perspectives inspired by the world of cinema.

The day will conclude with a reception at Le Logis Sainte Catherine in honor of the American guests, in the presence of regional representatives.

This inspiration tour is created and presented by Normandie Images, with the support of Film France - CNC and the Normandy Region.
